L I N K S

In this section I will mention some interesting links.
I would like to clarify something on the subject: to insert links with regard to the various sides of the philately would be very difficult. There are already hundreds, may be thousand existing pages in Internet about postage stamps: personal sites, commercial sites, trading places, postal administrations, societies, catalogues, etc..
For this reason any selection would be limited and partial. An endless list would be generated, difficult to consult, not homogeneous and anyway not complete.
I have so decided to insert only few links and with a very "narrow logic". First of all I mention only NOT COMMERCIAL sites and this is due to the general philosophy at the basis of my site: to expand the knowledge about postage stamps in a simple way, "family" environment, without profit purposes, and without "sponsorships". I'm not opposed to the commerce, in whatever form it is made: on the opposite I support it as long as it is made in correct and transparent way. On the other side I believe appropriate not to insert commercial links inside personal pages; I'm aware that my choice can be considered a very debatable one but I believe that it is the best one for my aims.

Therefore I will carry only two "categories" of links:
1) Links related to general resources about philately like libraries, similar associations or similar resources or resources through which anybody can find very easily the info and sites of his own interest.
2) Site that contain in a more or less direct way the postage stamps and the history of the Old Italian States, under whatever aspect (historic, pre-philatelic, postal etc.).

I would like that this list, at this time very minimal, could grow with the help of everybody and therefore I invite whoever is aware of interesting sites on the subject to notify me and I will be very happy to include them in this list (PAY ATTENTION: the sites will be anyway first examined, before being inserted, to check for their content that should carry useful info and not only nice looking "cover" pages).
